Q. Did Nostradamus predict hurricane Katrina and the resulting devastation of the US Gulf states?

A. No. It is doubtful whether he made any predictions at all about the USA (though opinions will differ about the unrelated quatrain X.66, where the word 'Americh' doesn't rhyme and so is probably a misprint). In fact, he specifically aimed his predictions at Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and associated regions, rather than anywhere further afield.
